I think I'd just push this flop after his raise. He probably puts you on missed high cards like AK/AQs and thinks he can bully you. Given his stats, I think an 8 is unlikely, and he could very well have TT-QQ maybe even KK. As played, I call the turn push, you've got to be at least 3-1 here.

I would definately put him all-in on the flop...
Minraise preflop can also mean KK or AA, I would put him on KK and raise him all-in on the flop. If he has A8s, so be it... |

I used to joke that the best way to scare a 2+2er was to min-raise or min-check raise the turn. |

I don't see a lot of guys at this level who are thinking about pricing in draws. Of course, what complicates this hand is that villians could very well think they have a monster and still be behind us. |
