Default Money in the blinds

Someone I know swears he had winning stats from all positions, including the BB & SB in holdem (not sure limit or NL). Is this actually possible over any sort of sample size? How would this vary for limit and NL? I've done some searching on here and the threads I've read say blinds = lose money, but I know I haven't read through all the stats posts or anything.
Thanks!

I'm 100% sure it's impossible in limit and 90% sure it's impossible in NL.
