wow i got so flamed by gabe and stinkypete when i cold called a raise and some calls and limps w/ JTo in an amazing 1-2 game at commerce last month. and i was sold on it being super bad. so im sticking to what i learned: BAD.

that flop call seems pretty wrong from first read. you just need to raise and define your hand to justin and make utg pay a lot for chasing when he should fold. raise all day there.

you donkey, you called afer a limp and a raise (or a raise and a cold call). and your position wasnt good cuz there was a lagfish behind you. that is totally different.

Default the hand and the debate

here's what happened:

amazing 1-2 game. idiot limps, idiot raises utg+1, complete idiot cold calls (he cold called w/ K5o earlier), i call in cutoff with JTo, stinkypete is on the button with AQo and he just calls (lolollololololollolololololololololololololololol ololololololololollmfaolmfaolmfao)

(the flop comes like QJT and i win like a million dollars)

later that night at dinner gabe says that me coldcalling with JTo is worse than pete not raising with AQo. i disagree. i defer that calling there with JTo is awful, but AQ has to get 3 bet there 100% of the time.

I agree with Gabe. No reason to 3 bet a big offsuit hand here.

but there's too much check-to-me equity and domination equity against these clowns with such a big hand on the button. it's more than just the immediate EV it's how it makes the hand play out.
