200 NL Fun Hand
6 Max
Effective Stacks of 240 Villain was 30/6/1.1 over 100 hands I'm something like 26/16/4 Villain limps UTG. 1 more limper. SB completes. I make it 10 from the BB with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to 30. I just call. Who likes a 3-bet? Flop (65) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check. He bets 16. I decide to call. Turn (100) K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check. He bets 36. I call. River J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check he bets 45. I call. Comments on all streets appreciated. |

Re: 200 NL Fun Hand
Raise more pre-flop against 3 limpers.
4-bet pre-flop and get it in. Flop is good. Raise turn. |

Re: 200 NL Fun Hand
Raise more preflop, I raise to 13-14. And I most often just 4-bet this preflop, I'm more inclined to call ip.
I think c/c on the flop is good, but you need to put in lots of more action on the turn. He can have tons of worse hands that will pay off, AK/AT/AxQd to name a few (I don't think he's folding AQ/AJ either). I lead out 70-80 on the turn with the intention of pushing the river. Villain could easily take a pot control line with AQ/AJ and whatever is in his range, but after you called his preflop re-raise and flop bet I don't think he's very likely to bluff the turn if we check. Also I think he'll pay off with worse hands if we bet rather than c/r. Given your turn check, both crai and c/r to ~130 is ok. Just calling is not ok at all. |

Re: 200 NL Fun Hand
I'd be scared to 4bet preflop against a limp-3better. But your preflop raise should have been bigger.
Flop is fine. Turn get it all-in. |

I'd be scared to 4bet preflop against a limp-3better. [/ QUOTE ] You'll get stacked postflop most often against AA either way, so your preflop action should be designed to optimize your value vs the rest of his range. |
