Default Best glue for plastic?

I'm posting this because a little part of my laptop broke off. It's one of the two hooks that keep the tablet part attached to the keyboard part.

not broken

I think the part is plastic (definitely feels like it) and a quick Google search brings up a link with different types of adhesives for plastics. Would I be able to use one of these to re-attach the hook? If so, which glue would be my best bet and where can I find it?

Crazy Glue won't work? An epoxy of some kind perhaps.

I have no clue.

Crazy glue should work. I recently bought a plastic storage cabinet that required assembly. The little swing hinge assembly for one of the doors, made of plastic, was broken.

I didn't think there was a chance in hell that crazy glue could work as this little hinge had to support a lot of weight, but it worked fine.

JB Weld for plastics.

I repaired an interior car door handle / panel with this stuff. Very strong on plastic and held up nicely. You have to be able to keep pressure on it for it to work though, might be difficult in your situation but workable.

A good, strong plastic epoxy should work fine. Any hardware store should have some.

epoxy should work but do it right. getting in the habit of doing things right the first time is best.
drill a small hole in each end and insert a finish nail or some kind of metal thin rod into the holes making sure they line up. along with the nail put epoxy on it and around the break. if you have room let it go up the sides some but my affect the looks. then it will be stronger than the original part was.
