ya, play one hand, win walk away. any casino game can be beat in the short run if you get some good varience.

some ways to play EV+ bj without counting:
- match play coupons - BJ pays 2-1 promotions - finding dealers that flash hole cards and adjusting play accordingly (best not to get caught on this one, but it's legal in vegas, etc - so long as you're not conspiring with the dealer) - find a player that surrenders way too often and buy some of his hands for half price. You can also offer him discounted insurance (for example he has $200 bet out, the house charges $100 for insurance but you offer it to him for $90). this one won't last long before the pit/dealer makes you stop. |

also, buying other player's profitable double downs and splits if they're not willing to pay themselves. Renzey's book has good info on this.

[/ QUOTE ] I've done this but feel kind of bad sometimes. for example player 11 vs dealer 7 and I buy his double down and he gets a deuce he's kind of screwed. I'm not sure of any way around that. |
