Best way to get per month/week/whatever advertisors?

I'm looking to get some advertisors for my forum just so I can start having more than just one prize and then hopefully get more users. How do you guys go about finding the advertisors like the guys over there ---------------> that are paying for a certain time period? Or do they find you lol.

If you're small then you have to go find them. If you're small then come up with a plan that you feel will benefit both of you (more so them, as you're trying to get this going) and present it to them.

There's no easy way of doing this, you've just got to go with your gut and try and find someone that fits your market. You'll probably have better success with smaller companies/sites, too.
