People Who Don't Use AIM

I have gaim for both my MSN and AIM accounts. I hardly ever use either, though. If I want to talk to my friends, I call them and set a date for drinks or dinner or whatever. I usually have fairly intense conversations with my friends when we meet up. Those are completely impossible over IM. It's more suited for hours of idle chatter, but I'm not really interested in that.

I also like not being available all the time. I like being alone a lot of the time. When I'm behind my computer I'm in my own world. Turning on IM would mean I would not be alone.
