Affiliate shout-out \"www.poker-signup.com\"
I really doubt that changing an affiliate is common place but I have reason to try and cannot get my current affiliate to respond. I'm looking into any insight you may have.
I signed up at Absolute Poker 2 years ago just to try it out, I signed up there because a friend played there. I did not use a signup/affiliate code. Through discussions with AP support we can only assume that someone on my computer had surfed a site that put 'http://www.poker-signup.com" in a cookie because AP has them listed as my affiliate. This year I decided to take my playing to the next level and researched rakeback affiliates and tried to have my account switched. AP refused, as I guess they should in order to protect the affiliate business. In Dec 2006 I decided to stop using my AP account over this issue, and have not generated a penny of rake on that site since. I have tried unsuccessfully to contact the email address that AP gave to me 'webmaster@poker-signup.com' to see if they would release me given that I earned them a lot of money in the previous year and no longer play there at all due to this issue. Do I have any options? Is that account dead now and my only option to play on those tables and receive rakeback to use BCP or Vegas724? People have suggested opening a new account under a family members name etc. but I want everything 100% above board. If AP really doesn't want me back I won't come back. I would appreciate any advice you might be able to offer on this issue. Thanks, ...Deal |

One of the skins is really your only viable option at this point.

I would send this whois to AB and try to talk to them.

Re: Affiliate shout-out \"www.poker-signup.com\"
Thank you all for posting. And thanks to the affiliate that I was trying to contact for contacting me and offering to release me. Someone from this forum let him know about this post. What a great community.
Thanks so much, ...Deal |
