Default $10NL6max: Huge overbet by villian on river

Villian is 40/12/1.7 over 30 hands, no specific reads on his play.

How should I interpret his river bet (assuming that he is the "standard" type for the stats I gave)?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.05/$0.10
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $4.90
CO: $11.45
Button: $4.30
SB: $11.10
Hero: $10

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG folds, CO raises to $0.2, Button calls, SB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($0.65, 3 players)
Hero checks, CO checks, Button checks.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($0.65, 3 players)
Hero bets $0.4, CO calls, Button folds.

River: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($1.45, 2 players)
Hero bets $1.1, CO raises all-in $10.85, Hero?

Regards,
Fredrik

FWIW: I fold this preflop. Two big offsuit cards play suck postflop oop, especially when you weren't the one raising initially.

At the end here your hand has to be pretty much face up. He can't really think you'll do this with much except a K and even if he does then it's just a crazy bluff. I'd expect to see something like pocket 3s here a lot. If he is bluffing then you'll probably get a better spot soon enough anyway.

i call... although the PF minbet i usualy see AK or small pr. this could easily be 88 or TT getting crazy and not thinking you could turn and river trips. on the other hand very few players really want to get their money in sans nuts at 10NL. this is boarder line and its pretty sick if he flopped a set and played you like this. this is marginal and you are eaither wa/wb. im curious to know what happened.

Fold preflop.
Fold river. He made a boat and hopes you have a King.

If the bet sizes were the other way around, him betting $2 into a $10 pot then you should puke at thinking of folding a winner. When it's $10 into $2 then you've got a lot of room for letting it go and finding a better spot.
