AK , £200
£200 NL (same as $400 NL ), effective stacks £244
6 Max, cryptologic. Villain seems reasonable, average Taggish stats, but I have no read. This is a simple hand, yet I do hope to hear how you guys would play it. Its folded to BTN who bets £8, I reraise to £25 from SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], BB folds, BTN calls. Flop (pot £52) : 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet £35, he calls. Turn (pot £122) K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] : I check, he bets £52, I call. River (pot £266) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]: (I have £133 left) Preflop and flop I am comfortable with, but I think I played the turn badly. ( I usually bet in this place, but try to deviate from standard once in a while) Should I just get it all in after hitting TPTK on the turn, or somehow try to exercise potcontrol in this already pretty large pot? I think I should either bet turn maybe half pot, CR turn all in or call turn and push river. What would you do? |

Re: AK , £200
check/fold river and maybe even c/f turn
actually almost definitely c/f turn given that its a re-raised pot. |

Re: AK , £200
stacks are too short to just call the turn, either c/r ai or c/f. i would generally c/r ai. as it is i would check and probably end up folding to a push but i don't hate a call getting like 3:1.

Re: AK , £200
Yeah I think you have to check-fold the turn.

Re: AK , £200
Thanks for the replies.
(You are right, I pushed river and he had a set with 99) |
