Villain could have a flush here. But would he call a raise with this kind of board? Also, would he bet with a flush on this river...?

I think I'd be a wuss and just call... Can't see him calling a raise with anything we beat, except maybe an overpair?

His range is pretty narrow here. There is 1 88. 1 QQ (even though he didnt cap preflop, the action was HU and a lot of TAGs just call for deception here). 1 QTs. 2 A8s.
Against this range you are a 3:2 underdog. But I think we have to discount QTs and A8s due to the turn action since capping would be overplaying these hands a bit, particular QTs.
I guess AQ and KQ is in his range as well, but these would have been seriously overplayed on the turn.

In short I expect to see 88 and QQ here a lot against a good villain who isnt on tilt, so I just call.

would he bet the river with a flush? That Q is a terrible card for flushies and your hand and a very good card for any Q or 88 hand also a J9h beats you so I dont think this is a raise but folding would be terrible(remember never fold for one bet in those big pots)so its a call

Raising is awful. He's folding anything you beat except an eight.
