[ QUOTE ]
Group has been advised that the USAO has obtained court-ordered seizure warrants
seizing funds pertaining to the Group's transactions. To the best of the Group's
knowledge, it believes that the amount of funds seized by the USAO or otherwise
restricted by third parties does not exceed US $55 million. These funds were
largely in the process of being transferred from the Group to its US customers
or vice versa.

As a result of the restrictions placed by third parties, court-ordered seizures,
and related legal concerns, the Group is currently unable to make payments to US
customers. Nevertheless, the Group is in discussions with the USAO to manage an
orderly return of funds to US customers. As part of these discussions, it is
contemplated that the USAO will engage a forensic accounting firm, at the
Group's expense, to assist in this process and to examine the Group's financial
position. "The return of funds to our US customers is a top priority for
NETELLER" said Ron Martin, Group President and CEO. US customers wishing to
withdraw funds from their NETELLER e-wallet accounts will experience ongoing
delays while these discussions continue, and a further update will be provided
by the Group once effective repayment mechanisms are determined.

I'm referring to this dated Feb 8th. In there, it appears the statement is claiming certain funds "in transit" were seized. If there is something else, I would really appreciate the info.

Thanks in advance

I like how the FAQ keeps changing.
At first, they said the money was safe.
Then they changed that answer and just said the money is in a trust account.

Now they have removed the question altogether.

Not directed at you Najdorf, just responding since its the last post.

Guys, use some common sense. Money in Neteller isn't seized or gone. Look at 2 common situations here...

#1. Don't you think Neteller woudl just throw all the blame and say the DOJ took all their money, we dont know if we will ever pay, and pressure your own government to pay you what you are owed? They would love to be in the clear, and would of easily dumped ALL the blame on the US govt, so they don't look like the bad guys to the rest of their business.

#2. If you can prove you are foriegn resident, your NT funds are released and you are free to do what you want with them. I've heard of rumblings this isn't true anymore, but as of speaking to them yesterday via the phone, it is.

Please do not PM me asking for anything, but if you were Neteller your #1 goal should be to keeping a clean image to the remaining business you have left. There is a lot more than $55 million worth of funds that Neteller has (wherever that may be). Neteller would of sold the DOJ down the river a lot faster if there was any real threat of them losing all their money.

My response was based on the other 6 (OT) replies in this thread.

With that being said, I would buy it for 60% right now. I have a much more needed use for money now than later for specific, present projects.

I sold my Neteller money for about 80% and that was when peer 2 peers were still working and I knew for a fact the overseas individual buying would get the money in just moments.

The next day p2p's were stopped and I made the best business decision of my life to cut my losses like that.

So at this time I wouldn't buy Neteller funds for any more then 5%.

I got rid of $8k on Neteller at 95 cents on the dollar. I would've paid 60 cents at the time.

Now, I'd be willing to pay 15-20 cents.
