thanks for replies (of all kinds !!).

anyways, Went to post office and USPS postal employee talked to the mailman who confessed that he just left it in front of the front door (or so he says). Either way I didnt say anything (or file a complaint) because dont want a pissed off USPS mailman now stealing netflix movies or credit card statements or whatever.

Instead went to a local UPS store and got a mailbox. Costs only 150$ a year. They will sign for all packages and hold it. Since they use a street address, so all carriers will deliver there. peace of mind.

Called up Amazon and they are sending a replacement unit in 24-48 hours. Problem solved.

Sorry about the original post rant. Its COMPLETELY MY FAULT of not having a UPS mailbox in the first place. No more dealing with stupid govt. people.

One time, a neighbor signed for one of my packages and didn't tell me. I ended up calling the company and getting a new package delivered. Then, a month later I saw him outside (I had never met the guy before) and he said he had a package of mine. WTF, how about knocking on my door and letting me know at some point?

Anyway, check with your neighbors...

How is it the government employee's fault that someone stole the package after it was left on your front porch? You must live in a great neighborhood.

Jon,

OP is an irrational moron. Let's just ignore him and let this thread die.

Obviously you're play is to ship yourself a bomb in a fancy package that makes it looks like there is something the mailman would want to still and then follow him home from work and as soon as he gets inside his house blow it up.

I work for UPS. I will find your UPS mailbox and have everything redelivered to the post office.
