If thats what im puttin him on and I intend to bluff I rather do it with a cont. bet, second barrell.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well I could only put him on that hand because of how I played it.

If I cbet and he called he would have a much wider range, including Ks and under pp. Then I would be faced with a difficult decision of whether or not to double barrel oop.

I cbet here because with the king it will be harder for a pp to continue, you dont really have a chance for hitting much to improve your hand later, so i just bet and take it down here.

I kinda like this bluff. The only question now that you put villain on 88-JJ is what do you think he is putting on you. You raise pre-flop, check the K-high flop and bet out on then next two low cards. If I were villain, I would put you on a pure bluff or 88-QQ. The good thing about this river bluff, to me, is that you are putting a normally TAG player to the test, especially if you read that he can lay down the mid-pair. I might even consider making the river bet slightly larger ($35-40, not pot or more).

I like bluffing, but i don't like this one. I prefer to be "selling" something when i bluff, this is more of just "well I hope his hand is bad and he isn't thinking much about this".

I should have mentioned my read, and the reason for the bluff, is that I put him on 88-JJ.

[/ QUOTE ]

Any reason why he can't have 66-77 also?

This would be more successful if you fired on flop and turn IMO. I see no way you have the straight and could easily see villian RRing AI.

I like your line, the villan has an aggression of 3, you would have seen some action from him if he had a decent hand. With the action he gave you on the flop and turn he has a pp below KK, or he is slow playing a monster which I really really dont see or he has exactly what you thaught he had. I would have taken the same line... strangely enough even the same bets +-$1.
