Help each other out?

Hey I know a lot of us are getting into websites and some of the same things. My thought is... I wonder how many people are signing up for services without being refered. So my idea is... we compile a list of referal links so when someone signs up with something the referer could split the commission with the referee. I don't know how good an idea this is... but its just a thought.
