Re: To tip at casino?
Seriously tip only when you want to tip, not because you feel you have to. Tipping in the states is a farce.
Tipping someone for doing their job is ridiculous and you should only tip if someone does something that deserves a tip. I'm from the UK and have been to the states on numerous occasions and certainly don't tip for the sake of it and in low limit by tipping you're making the game pretty much unbeatable. If they give you a dirty look, count your money. Who cares? If they go out their working boundary to be friendly and helpful then sure tip, but never tip due to feeling you have to. |

Re: To tip at casino?
lol - pearly whites my friend, but seriously just get the casinos to pay the dealers more (they make enough), then people playing low limit would then make money at a beatable game.
Surely that makes sense. |

Re: To tip at casino?
Just like restaurants must. We tip servers because if they were paid enough to do that job, dining out would be too expensive for the average person. If the casinos had to pay the dealers enough to get them to work the hours they do and do a good job, we'd have to pay the casinos more to play there. If they took the job and didn't get tipped, why would they care how fast they dealt, if your cards were flipped, if your food was cold and your drinks took forever, etc.?
Please tip people who work those types of jobs, such as servers, maids, dealers, etc. Tipping does serve a purpose. Too bad so many people are too ignorant, stupid, or selfish to realize it. Stay home or in your own countries! |
