seems like it would be easier to just grease a porter or something, but then that decreases the cost efficiency of smuggling.

I've done this before. Vodka and orange food coloring. You can get the color to match exactly.

Finding mixers is a pain however.

[/ QUOTE ]

Every cruise I've ever been on had a 24-hour cafeteria with coke, oj, anything really, and all free.

OP I bought pint sized bottles, took my shoes off and loosened the laces, then stuffed the pint bottles in there and put the shoes back on loosely. Also had a bottle tied to my crotch area.

Mouthwash bottle is easiest way to do it. Food coloring messes up your tounge/teeth slightly but its the best way to bring large amounts on. Finding mixers is a pain however.

I did this and would advise against it. The mouthwash taste never leaves the bottle, even after rinsing it out 500 times before loading the liquor in. Water bottles + vodka is the best, just use an exacto to take off the plastic safety seal and light tape it back on.

I took a carnival cruise earlier this year and had a water bottle filled with vodka, a water bottle filled with rum, and a snapple bottle filled with bourbon. No problems at all.

Exactly. Some of you guys are acting like you're trying to smuggle a dirty bomb past Jack Bauer. Every cruise I've ever heard people go on they just transferred the booze to a separate container - often the large durable plastic kind you would find for camping at places like REI - and haven't had any issues.

Besides, the tiny amounts that some of you keyboard commandos are recommending he sneak on are so small that it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

If you're smuggling vodka, you can just use water bottles. Otherwise, any opaque shampoo/conditioner bottle is the way to go.

Don't listen to all this food coloring jazz. Talking to girls with green teeth isn't cool.
