seems like it would be easier to just grease a porter or something, but then that decreases the cost efficiency of smuggling.

I've done this before. Vodka and orange food coloring. You can get the color to match exactly.

[ QUOTE ]
Finding mixers is a pain however. [/ QUOTE ] Every cruise I've ever been on had a 24-hour cafeteria with coke, oj, anything really, and all free. OP I bought pint sized bottles, took my shoes off and loosened the laces, then stuffed the pint bottles in there and put the shoes back on loosely. Also had a bottle tied to my crotch area. |

[ QUOTE ]
Mouthwash bottle is easiest way to do it. Food coloring messes up your tounge/teeth slightly but its the best way to bring large amounts on. Finding mixers is a pain however. [/ QUOTE ] I did this and would advise against it. The mouthwash taste never leaves the bottle, even after rinsing it out 500 times before loading the liquor in. Water bottles + vodka is the best, just use an exacto to take off the plastic safety seal and light tape it back on. |

Re: How to smuggle booze? (on to cruise)
I took a carnival cruise earlier this year and had a water bottle filled with vodka, a water bottle filled with rum, and a snapple bottle filled with bourbon. No problems at all.

Some of you guys are acting like you're trying to smuggle a dirty bomb past Jack Bauer. Every cruise I've ever heard people go on they just transferred the booze to a separate container - often the large durable plastic kind you would find for camping at places like REI - and haven't had any issues. Besides, the tiny amounts that some of you keyboard commandos are recommending he sneak on are so small that it wouldn't be worth the trouble. |

Re: How to smuggle booze? (on to cruise)
If you're smuggling vodka, you can just use water bottles. Otherwise, any opaque shampoo/conditioner bottle is the way to go.
Don't listen to all this food coloring jazz. Talking to girls with green teeth isn't cool. |
