The first time I had ever head of Brian Townsend was on HSP last night. Instantly likeable. He played well and had a cool-as-a-cucumber table demeanor. Was rooting for him the first time I saw him put money in the pot. And I loved the shush to Gold. Nicely done.

next time i play live i am going to handle my chips like that and see if people try and push me around. it definately made him look nervous, but at the same time he was completely calm and collected in every other way. obviously the guys on HSP know who brian is and wouldn't act differently based on how he handled the chips.

I feel pretty confident all those players knew and respected Brian prior to that taping.

The "shush" was an instant classic.

Word.

No chance in hell any of them (besides perhaps, Gold) weren't fully aware how dangerous he is.

And, yeah, the shush almost made me cream my jeans.
