Default NL 25 FTP Sanity check

I moved up from .5/.10 and am starting to find the games much looser and have caught a couple people trying to steal the pot with an aggressive AI.

I'll post a couple of hands. In both situations my thought was "does a monster hand play this strongly?" It seemed like classic cases of strong = weak.

However, at the .05/.10 level people seemed to play much more straight forward and strength = strength. Maybe because they knew a weak hand would call them? As a result I learned to get out of the way of the big ai reraises.

So my question is, did I just get lucky here or are these stupid ai raises usually weak at this level? Any thoughts from experience (esp at FT) would be great!

but they didn't seem this bad at the next level down. This is what I am trying to get my mind around.

Should I really be calling these weak looking ai's in hands like these?

I don't think a sample size of two is enough to make that determination.

Has anyone else played alot of hands at this level?

If you spend your whole poker career playing w/o reads, you are going to lose a lot of money.

That's true, but you can't get a read on someone over the internet without playing a few hands with them. Were you commenting on my calling them or just giving advice in general?

Has anyone played this site/level?

I've played NL 25, but not on fulltilt.

I was commenting on the fact that you didn't give reads for either hand.

Also, if you ask an general question, you will get a general answer (and no matter what answer you get, you will it probably won't be very helpful).

BTW, hand 1 is an easy reraise in position and hand 2 is an easy call in general.

Did you make notes after these hands?

Yes I took notes. My question was just more about the .10/.25 at FTP myself. if anything it seems worse than the $10NL level below it.

I played a lot of 25 NL when I got into cash games from sit n go's. I played on Bodog but im sure its not all that different. To answer your question big bets and check raise all ins are almost always a big hand. You just happened to run into some weak players. The two hands you posted though I would have gotten my money in both times due to the way they were played .In the future I would definately be wary of big bets and all ins especially with one pair hands. 25 NL does have its share of donkeys as you can tell but they are usually pretty easy to pick out.
