I dont particularly like how you played this hand at all...

my standard line would probably be:

bet the flop
if he calls i dont mind checkin the turn for some pot control with the intention of callin his river bet...I tend to think this line will induce ak,and pocket pairs to look to bluff/value bet their hands which you can pick of while keepin it a reasonable pot

I dont really think he is calling a flop bet with anything i can beat.

He is oop and deep which makes it very unlike that he is calling with something like jj here due to the reverse implied odds.

Correct me if im wrong

what do you think the advantages to the betting the flop and checking the turn are over checking the flop and betting the turn ?
