Only costs you 60 to fold.

You're like 60% coinflip, 30% dominated, 20% dominating him.

Sixty chips is nothing so just get rid of it unless you feel like gambling.

Yeah it was an easy fold for me, but I wanted to get a second opinion on it. Thanks for the input.

This is a fairly easy fold this early on in a bigger tournament. However, in these fast moving, short buy-in tournies I would be much more inclined to gamble it up and look to double up early on to make yourself more dangerous as the blinds increase.

I'd call here; his range is much wider than in bigger tourneys, and you have a better-than-usual chance of dominating him. In a $4, seems worth it to potentially double up.

A general question for everyone:
what would your holding have to be to make this a call, considering this is early in a 4/180? Tens or better, or more or less tight than that?

Hes moved in for c.15x pot early on from SB. Hes more than likely a complete retard who thinks you're stealing his blind and wants to act tough. There is no way he has AA-KK here, and when you throw in the rest of his range. ie. almost any two, you are a massive favourite.

You are probably 70-30 at leat here an have the opportunity to have a massive stack straight away which you can use to make an even bigger one. And, its $4. Although I woulld probably do this up to about $20 also. I dont mind gambling early if it gets me a big stak

Call.

This is an easy call in the 4/180.

Range for unknown assuming no reads.

77+, AQ+, AJs+, KQ+, KJs+

IMO, QQ+ needs to be slightly weighed out of this range. It is a bit less likely than the rest of the holdings.

The only action he has made that we have observed, has already told us that this guy is not playing by the book.
