Default weird email from bodog

Hi xxxxx,

I noticed that you have ($x,xxx.xx) available in your Bodog account (Account # xxxxxx) so I thought you would appreciate a quick reminder e-mail!

Log in to your account to check you balance. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me (lianne@bodog.com).

Anyone get one of these emails before? Is there some sort of "sitting fee" or something? Just seems weird cause I've never gotten one of these emails from any other site before and I've had lots more and had it sit a lot longer on other sites.

Sounds like a hacking scam. Gambling sites like to be discreet and generally won't contact you.

I read about this somewhere where the hackers can lift your info by reading your keyboard strokes.

I would contact bodog by phone and see if that email is legit. Whatever you do, don't use your password until you get to the bottom of this.

I got the exact same email today, and I have gotten one just like it before. It's legit and they just want you to come play on the site again.

I've gotten these once or twice before.
I think from the same Lianne person actually.

Not sure why more sites don't do something like that.
Instead of offering promos and bonuses like so many sites do via e-mail...just contact the customers and say, "You've got money on our site (in case you've forgotten). Come on by and Gambooool."
