How to get blacklisted from every underground game within a 200 mile radius:

[ QUOTE ]
If illegal, spread word with name and location of establishment in poker community. forward info to law enforcement anonymously if you wish and see what they do, copy media( local TV and newspapers).

I agree, thieves and criminals DO need to be punished. However, turning an underground game into the police is not the way to do it. Afterall, according to the police - the players at these games are also criminals.

You can tell other players what went on so they know not to go there but alerting the police and the media only gives poker a bigger black eye. Why increase the stigma already attached to poker? This only gives the authorities fuel to shut down ALL of the games.

I live in an area where underground games are all we have within 1000 miles. If you call the police on one of the games, you will NOT be invited back to any of them.

But why spoil it for the good underground games? All the games will be investigated if you start drawing attention to it. Bad idea.

Player X gets into a big beef at underground Club Y.
Soon after, Club Y raided.
Nah, the club owners would never guess.

Don't start a beef. Wait 3 days. Then report. If the clubs run like that, they've got more potential enemies than they can count.

Maybe the club will learn that the best way to live outside the law is to be honest.

Hard time believing this is actually true. Especially just for $5.

If it is, I'm outta there. Who knows, the next ruling may be that my chips are worth nothing in actual cash value.

You must be a crooked floor manager. Or someone who likes to be able to welch an all-in bet.

Your argument is exactly what the attitude that crooked games and floor bosses rely on, to make sure they can keep running crooked games. They know you want to play at any game so bad that they can cheat you left and right, and you'll actively protect them.

A crooked game is a crooked game. You want to keep going to an underground game that is subject to $5 bribes to change floor calls? You want the game allowed to keep operating, just so others can get tubed by crooked floor people? Be my guest.
