One of the funniest shows on TV. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard as when David Bowie starting playing the piano and singing about Gervais.

The scene with Gervais and Chegwin where he starts talking about "queers and jews" is such pure gold.

I almost started crying. That was so painful but so great.

Stephen Merchant rules.

Kate Winslet in a nun costume talking dirty = HOT

Harry Potter was awesome.

This show's good but I found it got old over the whole season. Every episode follows the same formula and they start to feel like the same episode over and over.

I think Extras is very funny. But when you can watch an entire season in a single sitting, it is not so much a "show" as a "mini-series", and it's unfair to compare to shows that get 20 or more episodes a year (or even 13 like HBO). What do British people watch the other 46 weeks per year?

I think that's why they gave him a regular series this year, so he doesn't go through the whole "I'm an extra always fighting for a line" episode. It made the show fresh this year and provides new opportunities for laughs.

The cream of the crop from the US, and the rest of the quality comedy we produce.

Or in the case of channel 4, Friends 24/7.
