Re: 200NL I reraise J 10 suited from BB and SPEW!!! (but how bad?)

you might be able to shove him off KK. [/ QUOTE ] After he calls that turn, I don't think he is going anywhere. |

[ QUOTE ] Btw, if I'm villain I know you almost never have AK here and I doubt you play AJ/AQ like this. I will pozz you with KK and AA here a lot. [/ QUOTE ] why cant hero have AK? [/ QUOTE ] Why can't hero have 10 10 also? Possibly even AA who flat called a 4 bet? And I don't think calling 27 more to a 4 bet with AK is good and your right I probably wouldn't do it often, but have played with plenty of people who would. |

Re: 200NL I reraise J 10 suited from BB and SPEW!!! (but how bad?)
Its just poor stack management. You don't have enough muscle to double barrel the turn and river and you don't have enough FE to warrant the one barrel semi-bluff on the turn. By the river villain is calling while doing his best Al Swearengen impression: "I ain't going no place".

Re: 200NL I reraise J 10 suited from BB and SPEW!!! (but how bad?)
Ok thanks for replies. Like I said I don't usually repop J 10 suited out of the blinds and got myself into trouble here. Think I'm probably just better off letting it go to his 4 bet and definetly check folding river. If anyone cares about results all I have to say is LOL

Re: 200NL I reraise J 10 suited from BB and SPEW!!! (but how bad?)
Wow, well nh this time but thats not very standard lol. 100% check turn here, you (almost) always are behind, and also you just picked up a draw to take him out! You could c/r all in on turn, not very believable but maybe he will fold

Re: 200NL I reraise J 10 suited from BB and SPEW!!! (but how bad?)
nh, but def. not a standard line.
The results are appreciated as it just goes to show how often we miss value by assuming "no sane villain calls a bet on this river with a second best hand". I'm really trying to force myself to get max value. Too often we let passive villains off easily. |
