What would his hand range have to be for checking to be better than betting? I think it would be really hard to come up with a legit one on this board.

AA, KK, AQ, QJ, K10, plus some straight and flush draws. But i think you guys are probably right. I forgot this was a RR pot so some of hte straights are less likely. Betting is probably better.

I think if the turn was a K, it would make for a better spot to c/r AI
