Victor ramdin 'Ive got a straight' I think he thought his hand was good too, incredible. [/ QUOTE ] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on a board of 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. $5 to anyone who can name two hands Alaei and Gold could possibly have there where Ramdin wins the pot through some combination of better/worse hands folding and worse hands calling. Having Gold in there is basically a freebie too. It's still not possible. |

[ QUOTE ]
I thought Gold was a Commerce player? In all the years I've played up at the plaza level at the bike I can't recall ever playing against him. And there hasn't been any fanfare there about him representing us by winning the WSOP. When Tuan Le won his 2 WPT events we had a huge banner flying on the ceiling congratulating him. [/ QUOTE ] Its because the Bike doesn't want to be associated with douchebags. |

Re: \"Official\" High Stakes Poker thread (2/12)
Is it just me, or are the calculations off on the first hand? They displayed ABA as a 78% favorite after the flop (where he had 7h5h).

Maybe the took dead cards into account even though they didn't show what people mucked? They show 75h at 78%, 63c at 16%, As5c at 6%. Re: \"Official\" High Stakes Poker thread (2/12)
Everyone is raggin on Gold (with good reason), but Victor Ramdin has played more or less every hand on this show gross. That JT hand was just hilarious. What the hell did he think he beat there?
Can't say I'm a big fan of of Todds 20k call with that openender either. |

"Im sure when brian sits down at a table at the bellagio it's definetly +ev that he handles chips like he has boxing gloves on"
This has to be the funniest thing I ever read on 2+2! Go Brian! Great episiode! Ever notice that when players take forever to make a decision especially when thinking that they are either hollywooding with the nuts of have air. (Barry's J6 hand) Can't believe he got away with it - especially when he pulled same move on earlier season vs Eli when he pushed Eli off of pair of Kings with J kicker (Barry had air then too). |
