Re: TPTK on turn, getting 3 betted
This is a trainwreck of a thread...
I would fold bet/flop. The board is drawy, and you have RIO. You might be up against a set or a combo-draw. When he 3-bets the turn, EASY fold. If you are ahead (not often), he will outdraw you on the river alot. I think you're probably up against T9/set. |

I don't want draws taking a free card, and a 7 or 8 folds never. |

Re: TPTK on turn, getting 3 betted
Why do you think bet/calling is better than bet/folding flop? How many clean outs do you estimate that we have?

Re: TPTK on turn, getting 3 betted
I would check/raise the turn where I play because noone takes a free card.
Once I get 3 bet I would justify a call on the turn because he could have something like J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or another combo draw, and against some 2 pairs we have enough outs. Once we get to a blank river I would justify a call because the pot is big and we're against an unknown. I might find a fold on certain bad cards. This could just be an excuse for calling station behavior, but I generally like showing down TPTK heads up against an unknown. |

Re: TPTK on turn, getting 3 betted
bet/folding this flop is awful once CO folds.
I agree with sharpie, though reads would /certainly/ help. |

Do you always muck here? [/ QUOTE ] I might draw to a hopeful 5 outs but I usually wouldn't have c/r'd there in the first place because if Villain was on a flush draw he might take a free card and if he had the T9 OESD it just came in. If he has two pair or a set we might be getting three bet and could be drawing slim or dead. |
