Fukkeneh,

I don't think you are going to get enough hands in. I would recomend making it a 120 day challenge since you are only playing 1/4 of the hands that I think it will take. I orginally wrote ~3K hands but after thinking about it more you would actually need 4-5K hands a day. Its still doable but would require great determination and stamina. Good luck and I will be reading.

how do you figure that ratholing at 125bb decreases variance?

lowering your winrate decreases your variance a lot more than trying to avoid getting stacked for >125bb stacks

One day a friend of mine deposited 100 dollars into FTP he then played in a 75 dollar MTT in which he won 4k. He then sat with The Riparian heads up, who he described as a "pigeon." By the end of that heads up session he had around 70k I believe, anything is possible if you run good. Good Luck.

do you guys realise that if he gets to 100k then just puts it all on red on the roullette wheel he has like a 50% chance of getting there?

For more inspiration: I turned 1 dollar leftover money on FTP into 60 in a few hours. I aim to turn it into 200k over the next 20 years.

not doable. either play more hands or make the challenge longer to make this possible.

I think you can do it. I'm trying something similar on a smaller scale.

Default END OF DAY 1

I played about 2500 hands today. I played 6 tables at a time of $100NL 6Max. I ended the day up $300. So my bankroll is now $1300.

I’m happy how a played, and if it was’t for 3-4 suckouts, I would of been out of $100NL today, and into $200 NL.

The smaller stakes games definetly take some getting used to. I never acutally played this low before, and you have to adjust that the players will simply call you more often. They also tend to call alot preflop, so your playing in alot of unraised pots –which can get a little hairy when your dealing with players of this caliber.

I played at around 11:00AM, about a 2.5 hour session at the office.. then played about 1 hour at home at 7:00PM. I found that the players were acutally better during the day session rather than the night one.

Hopefully tomorrow, I can run a tad better and get out of the $100 level. I really think that I will fare a bit better playing against stronger opponents.

My VPIP was about 28%, which I think at this level is a bit too loose. If you are currently a .50/$1 NL player, I would think that VPIP of about 20% would be optimal. You just aren’t getting the players to fold enough after the flop to make it profitable to play the extra hands.

Thanks to all the readers for the nice comments of support, and I wish you the best on your similar goals to build up your bankrolls
