Re: You can have $100 million right now...but will die in 10 years
I'll do it for 9.9 years. You would really appreciate life everyday. I would still value-bet using as much of it I could to buy life insurance policies.

Re: You can have $100 million right now...but will die in 10 years
I am 37 and this is actually a tough question for me.
On one hand, it would be great to know I could set up my wife, son, and family to take care of them for the rest of their lives, and I could spend the next 10 years enjoying my life to the fullest. On the other hand... I'd be 47 when I died and I'd never get to see my son (or if I have any other children) grow up and graduate from high school, get married, etc. I'd only have 10 more years with my sweet wife. Plus she and my family would be very pissed at me for taking this deal... I think they'd much rather have me than the money. So I think I say no. |

you people are so selfish! what ever happened to "the means of the many outweigh the needs of the few?" [/ QUOTE ] $100M can not adequately overthrow the illuminati so all I'd really be doing is setting up thousands of helpless people to spend decades of time under the power of a shadowy cabal. I'll pass thank you very much. |

Re: You can have $100 million right now...but will die in 10 years
10 years is a lot of life, especially when you consider that no-one anywhere is guaranteed of even living past the end of this sentance.
Even assuming I can still die a natural death in the next 10 years, I would take the money. And I wouldn't tell anyone about the deal I made, I would just die a tragic death well before my time, leaving behing a huge legacy of philathropy and opulence. Actually, just opulence... If I am guaranteed of living the full 10 years in good health, it just sweetens the deal. I realise that money doesnt equal happiness, but it sure equals a lot more golf, private yachts, and lines of coke off (high class) hookers asses, which will be more fun than sitting at my desk for the next x years... |
