Default world federation of poker and NAPT

anyone got info on the WFP and NAPT? from what i had heard/read about the North American Poker Tour before (namely from Matusow's Circuit interview), they were going to be similar to the PPT except they also had players exempt from buyins and lodging, etc, and shared sponsorship revenues. Also, I've heard the NAPT may require it's members to join a player's association--would this be the WFP?

article about WFP from ESPN--Rosenbloom http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/poker...amp;id=2330237

Also, not sure if this has been discussed, but in a Rich Belsky Cardplayer article a month or two back, Danny N mentioned: "There will be an event again in which you’re not going to see 6,000 players; you will see only 100 of the best. It will be like the PGA Tour compared to the Nike Tour. There’s a lot of talk about the pros banding together and doing something like that, and it’s right around the corner. The top players have already united and agreed upon certain things, one of which being that we need to own some stuff to ensure a say-so in the direction and future of the endeavor, and eliminate the need for corporate America to run poker events. There is a push from the top players to do something huge, and if this happens, poker will change forever. But that’s all I can say at this point."
not sure if this has to do with either the NAPT or WFP, but we can speculate right
here's the link for the belsky:

im really glad to see the poker world evolving to a point in which television is juicing the prize purses. hopefully it remains that way. first with PSI, then with HSPoGSN, the rumored cash game at Ceasars and now this.

There will be an event again in which you’re not going to see 6,000 players; you will see only 100 of the most marketable and well-connected.

Default Anyone think that gearing toward college students is a bad idea?

The WFP (worldfederationofpoker.org) will place members in four classifications: pros, masters (seniors), college students and amateurs. Players in each classification will earn points by playing in weekly online tournaments (at a site to be determined), which are expected to begin April 1.

Not sure if that's the best idea, at least in the United States where gambling under 21 isn't legal (even in states with state-sponsored games of age 18 or less)
