Antonio burns Mason
"deacsoft: In March 2006 Collins released World Poker Tour: In the Money, a book you authored on the subject of no-limit hold’em cash games. The book reads as much like an autobiography as it does a cash game strategy book and Mason Malmuth gave it a poor review. What are your feelings about the book and its quality?
Antonio Esfandiari: I wasn’t aware that Mason gave it a poor review. I tried to write a book that was informative yet fun to read at the same time. Everyone I have talked to so far has loved it. It could be maybe why People magazine recommended it as the number 8 gift for Father’s Day last year. I don’t recall seeing Mason’s book on that list, but who knows maybe I missed it." Yeah! People Magazine baby! Suck on it! |

Re: Antonio burns Mason
People magazine? Well, that's all the proof I need! I'm rushing off now to cancel my last amazon order and get Antonio's book instead ASAP.

Re: Antonio burns Mason
Antonio is a fun loving guy. He intended no offense to Mason. He was simply giving him a hard time and having a little fun.

Re: Antonio burns Mason
Hi Everyone:
One of the things we want to do in our magazines interviews is ask the tough questions when necessary. That's why I think it's great that Deacsoft did quiz Esfandiari on his book. We are also aware that when we ask the tough question, the answer may not be totally complimentary to us. But if we're tough enough to ask the question, we also have to be tough enough to publish the answer. That's what we did here, and that's what we'll do in the future. Best wishes, mason |
