Default 400 NL. KQo on button

Villian had been very active preflop (34/31/2.5) but only over 60 hand sample. He had just stacked UTG a few hands ago in a blind vs blind battle. I had 3 bet him previously twice and he had folded both times. I just call here to mix it up a bit. Two questions, raise the flop? check behind on the turn?

You played it fine, although that river bet is [censored] weird by him and I'm tempted to fold...meh it's a good call.

guys:

What would be the proper play if the turn was a 4 of spades, with the same actions by villian?

i'd play it the same. i'd be a lot more tempted to, and probably would be very close to, folding if he had c/c flop. his lead flop c/c turn line makes me think a flush is fairly unlikely.
