Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t10/t20
9 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">UTG raises all-in t1500</font>, Hero...

I've got nothing on any of the players...

Thoughts?

Villains range for this is? Try: 99+,AQo+,AQs+. JJ is 49% v this range,51% if you include 8s. You're 36% v QQ+, AKo, AQs+. 7 other players to speak, so assume ~1% that you get another caller (now Js are a real dog). I can't see how this isn't an instafold without a read that villain is on a wide range. I'm happy to flip if he has AK, but the probability of an overpair makes this -EV for me.

Its never easy to put these guys on a range, and it does depend who villain is (ive seen a few who like to open shove in l1 at the 27s), but vs a lot of them I'm calling here as the bottom of my range.
