Re: Which celebrity deaths genuinely made you sad?

[ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] + I shed tears whenever I watch the RAW tribute video. [/ QUOTE ] i used to have a copy of the Over the Edge PPV that is happened at. I tried watching it a few years back and it was way too surreal to watch. I will never forget the look on Lawler's face when he got back to the booth and Jeff Jarret and Road Dogg trying to hold back the tears while attempting to do a promo. Jarrett even broke Kayfabe during the promo Walter Payton's death really shook me up as he was a part of some of my earliest memories of being a bears fan I'll also join the chorus of people for Phil Hartman. Its really weird watching News Radio shows now with him in it. It just reminds you of how hilarious he was |

OMG I bawled like a little kid when he died. When Vin Scully passes it will be a million times worse.

Jack Buck. Harry Carey a little bit as well. [/ QUOTE ] OK, I know I'm going to hell for this, but I was DELIGHTED when Harry Carey died. I was booking sports at the time, and we had every Cubs game on tv in the afternoon. Nobody else plays day games, so we HAD to put the sound on the Cubs game. This guy was so annoying, he drove me nuts. And I knew he'd never retire, he had the job as long as he lived. I've never, before or since, rooted for somebody to die. But in Harry's case, I made an exception. |
