you won't lose your stack, short stakcs do wierd things sometimes, this could be J9 for all we know

You have to be able to spot sets in different situations and this is one of the most common. Don't loose your entire stack in these situations!

I think you should raise more pf, $2 is more like it with 3 limpers. As played I would probably push the flop and spike my Q.

Hmm, Everest Poker has a "Bet Pot" button, which I use in these situations because the amount seems about right. But you are correct, 1.75 is more standard.

(Also, shortstacks are very common at Everest, it's just that kind of site.)
