Default $60/$120 hand

Ok so this is another semi boring hand but I feel I should post something since I seem to critique others but don't receive any critiquing of my own even though I probably need it the most

I'm up a ton in the game and the game is pretty much centered around me now. Hijack is some retard and raises. I 3 bet KJo in cutoff, folded to him and he calls.

Flop: Q J 9 r. He checks I bet he thinks for a while and then checkraises I call.

Turn: A. He checks and I check?

River: Q. He bets and I....

I'm leaning towards a fold.

You need to win about 1 time out of 7 to break even on a call, but I'd call him call him down anyway even if you don't expect to win this often just to see his hand & let him know that you don't intend to be pushed out of a pot easily.

Since you mentioned he's a retard, I guess he could have anything. I,however, think he has a hand like A10, Q10, or some other similar combination. The most likely hand that you "could" beat is J10, but that is now a chop. I really think you should give it up and fold. The fact the he's a "retard" makes it a harder decision though as he could have complete air. It might be a good play as your hand really looks like 77-99. Curious as to what you did.

I think that if you have a hard decision about calling this players river bet you might have wanted to bet/fold turn. 1010 also seems like a possibility to me to account for villain's checkraise on flop then check on turn ace. As played I usually fold river against most opponents.

You are right, bet/fold to a checkraise on turn doesnt make sense but I guess I was thinking put in a bet to find out where you are, if you get called, shut it down on the river, if you get checkraised then call fold river UI.

I'm folding. I also probably 3-bet the flop to make the rest of the hand easier.

What are you doing three-betting KJo pre-flop? Even if this guy is an idiot, this seems pretty thin.

Flop and Turn look pretty good.

While normally I hate folding to a river bet after I check the turn in this sort of hand, you're beating very little. Also, it seems less likely he's making a play at you since you're dominating the game. Looks like a fold to me.
