Default conundrum: picking off a bluff/draw, or am i against a huge hand?

I have about 6500 chips, villain has about 7000
me and villain are bb and sb
I have Qs 10s
villain is fairly new to the table, but there has been a fair amount of stealing and restealing going on, blinds are 75/150

folds around to us, sb raises to 400
I decide to resteal and raise to 1350

he calls and the flop comes

10h 8d 6h

He immediately pushes allin

Do you call or fold? I'll give you results after hearing some opinions.

what range can we put him on? Has he been involved in stealing and restealing or just hte table in general?

i wouldn't think he'd stay for a re-raise with the str8. maybe AhKh? or a set or an overpair or T with a better kicker. That would be my best guess- he has TPTK or A8 and he doesn't want you to draw to the str8 or flush. there's also a chance he has air and he's trying to re-steal your re-steal on the flop.

b/c you're behind too much and you don't even have TPTK, I'd lay this down.

He is new to the table, so he hasn't been involved much. But the table has seen alot of "raise, reraise, fold" preflop. it just seemed to me like he was trying to buy the pot with a draw

Having made the pot this big, I call. I got top pair! I expect to be good about 50% of the time and that's good enough.

You tried to re-steal and flopped top pair, I don't think I would fold after the line you took preflop.

I would cheerfully call this. Why would he push if
he had you beat? You put in the last raise before
the flop. Many players would checkraise top pair or
better here. His push with a hand that beats you is
an unusual play I think.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

He in fact had Jh9h, giving him a straight draw and a flush draw, with a j being good to boot. turn was a blank and the river was a 7, completing the straight. I was really surprised he called me preflop, considering I thought I made my raise enough to discourage hands like that coming in, especially since I'm going to be acting behind him the whole hand.
