Re: Everyone\'s Going Broke in 2007
There is still plenty of growth in other countries, and if the US would ever support online poker or allow the US B&M companies to set up there own sites, I think we'd see a second gold age, as tons of casual players who were worried about online poker (and never deposited) would feel safer playing at a Harrah's poker site and finally deposit.

The games are TOUGH. I think you all should quit because they are so TOUGH. NO chance to win, None.

Re: Everyone\'s Going Broke in 2007
Brandon, I know you have experience playing in the bigger NL games at Commerce. (At least, you wrote about it in Broke.) Do you really think that those games will become much tougher? I think LA is an exception to the rest of the country: there will always be a large number of bad players, with lots of disposable income, that like to play high.

Re: Everyone\'s Going Broke in 2007
I think u' re right .
Just think the huge amount of money that " disappear" every year to the poker rooms for the rake .... If there' s nobust for the money comin ' in , the system will collapse for sure . Surely new markets as southern Europe ( Italy where i live from for example ) and Asia are interesting , but there' s no way this can supply the loss of the US fish-players . |
