Default LOL - micro check from Paradise Poker

So I forgot that I had a whopping $21 left over on Paradise until last Wednesday (1/31/07) when I clicked on the site and discovered that US players are no longer welcome .

So, I thought "Great, $21 down the toilet as their website says no checks under $50 are issued." I requested the check anyway.

LOL if it didn't show up YESTERDAY via regular mail!

Full Tilt? Poker Stars? UB?

Less than 1 week for a check worth less than a decent case of beer. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Oh, wait - it really isn't funny

YES IT IS!

So -- a site that no longer wants your business (because they don't serve the US) is able to get a check to you immediately.

But sites that presumably want you to return and/or continue to play at their site? A month wait? Nice.

Cheers to Paradise. Wish I could still play there.

Not for $21. no way, no how.

Its just an interesting data point that I didn't expect given the current environment. Full Tilt could cut & mail checks if they really wanted to & it wouldn't take 30+ business days.

LOL I got $1.25 still on Paradise, maybe I should request a check, ha.

Their processing is fast because all the US customers cashed out after Black Friday in October.

What was nice about Paradise is that they gave everyone a month to cash out gracefully. Too bad NT didn't do this when they decided to withdraw from the US market, and let everyone cash back into their checking accounts.

Paradise poker have a smoking hot model in their CardPlayer Europe ad (check out the flash version of the magazine on their website for pics). I wish I knew who she was.
