1) Lack of available tables. I'd much prefer to sit at a table of 40/5's, but those days are sadly over for the most part If I want to play 8 tables of a certain limit, I'm not gonna be sitting at 8 spectacular tables at all times.
2) Lazy. Table hopping with 6+ tables open is annoying. It's often just easier to stay where you're at. 3) Good 'ol pride. I've very often had the "I don't quit you, you quit me" attitude. It's fun and all, and a good ego boost when others sit out to you, but it's often more profitable to seek another table than play a very tough opponent HU or very short handed. |

4) we have a competition on to see who can pay the most rake [/ QUOTE ] If you use rakereduction this actually true. There are 3 contests per month to see who generates the most "points" (which is simply MGR*10). I personally pay many thousands of dollars per week in rake just to win the $25-$100 prizes. Stats since the first of the month: [ QUOTE ] 1. livb112 41813 2. browerkid 32611 3. eff_congress 30811 4. JhnyCshOut2 30021 5. wuyongjia00 24894 6. RetiredAt30 24455 7. run0x 22927 8. EGO, pure ego. That or they don't understand how little of an edge they have vs other tags compared to the fish, and how that effects variance and win rate.
