I am talking to my lawyer and CPA tomorrow... let you know what they say. I am guessing I am not alone in underreporting my earnings... huh.

Mostly speculation here, to which I am now adding mine:

1. The DoJ can request whatever it damn well pleases.

2. Neteller can submit whatever it damn well pleases. Then the pissing contest begins if the two do not coincide.

a. Neteller no longer has US customers to "protect. It only has previous customers, and some of their money.
b. Neteller is subject to different laws and regulations than would apply to a US business. So, we US weenies should be careful about assuming it has similar legal protections and obligations.

Nate,

What odds would you give me that via info obtained from Neteller the US govt will target some poker site affiliates?

Affiliates? 10-1 against. But they're certainly in a much murkier position than your average joe poker player.

..This article is based off of assumptions and opinions. Would some of you retards actually read this article and understand the guy writing it is making shot-in-the-dark guesses?

Not saying that this couldn't be true anyways, but I'm sick and tired of these panic threads that have no real content and don't really give anyone any useful information. Garbage thread.

Hey ElD,

I can't speak to the odds that the info will be used to target a poker affiliate. However, I can say that, based on a substantial amount of research from my BW days, that if you wanted to bet on what kind of affiliate is first targeted (assuming one is), the line would look something like this:

Sportsbook Affiliate: -1900
Casino: +3900
Poker: +3900

W/out vig of course. Also, for the record, I'm ignoring the fact that sites like CasinoCity could be a primary target for the DOJ due to past disagreements. I'm just trying to put this in a macro perspective.

If you think that there is an income tax law requiring average citizens in the United States to pay income taxes you should do a little research. you will be surprised at what you find.
