Beat: Intern Interview

Background: I go to upenn. Even thoug it is an ivy league school, it doesnt feel that way cause wharton is the only school that gets [censored]. They get new rooms, bttr teachers, etc. We have on campus interviews for finance jobs this week. My resume hardly gets touched because I study econ at the college, not wharton. I wait outside an interview with an investment bank, chat it up and get an interview luckily cause some wharton d-bag didnt show. Its tough and he is asking me why Im not in wharton if im interested in banking, grilling me about my previous jobs. Then at the end he shakes my hand, says he will be right back and walks past me and opens and shuts the door. I say outloud, because ima moron, "whoo that guy was [censored] brutal". He clears his throught and jump out of my chair like 5 feet high. He goes what was that? I say thanks for your time, open the door and just skip the post interview forms.

Brag: Got an interview with a top bank even though im not in wharton
Beat: I said something stupid at the end and blew what little chance i had.
Variance: I felt like a loser so I went and saw stomp the yard and then snuck into smokin aces instead of going to econ or stat lecture.

Is this some kind of wierd interview tactic that i've never heard of? He told you he was leaving, opened and closed the door, then just stood there to watch you? Pretty dick move on his part. If this is some kind of tactic they use, I wouldnt want to work there anyways. Especially for this guy.

stomp was the only movie playing at that time....and i didnt pass up on wharton...i went to penn as a bioengineer, hated it, and the nazis at wharton wouldnt let me transfer in...
