Live tourney final 5- pocket 8's

Final table of live tourney last night...
5 players blinds 3000/6000. I have 70K, UTG HAS 90K. He plays a lot of pots, loves connectors, Ax.
I'm dealt pocket 8's

Button has Q6s: all in for 12000
UTG has pocket 2's: RAISE TO 40K
Hero has pocket 8's: all in for 70K

Board is: K 3 10 2 Q rainbow...

My question isn't really about my play, but who finishes 5th, Hero or Button?

AFAIK, Hero is 4th because he entered the hand with more chips.

Hero wins 4th place monies. Even though you finished with the 3rd best hand in the pot, you had more chips and you both busted. Did you smack button around for tring to take said monies or just congradulate him on a nice try?

I did get paid for 4th, just wasn't sure if I did rightly so, or if I should feel guilty or something...
