Might be a nice drink, but Pisco isnīt a Chilean spirit.
Itīs Peruvian.

[/ QUOTE ]

Certainly not beyond dispute. Whether you say it's Peruvian or Chilean, Piscolas are a tasty, crisp, easy drink. I highly recommend.

In contrast, a Pisco Sour requires a bit more work but the ladies seem to enjoy them.

Not only the ladies.

Pisco Sour is one of my favorite drinks, and I definitely recommend you try it.

ive been liking manhattans, but im honestly not sure if the ones i have been drinking have been made with rye whiskey, burbon or with bitters or not. Im going to have to experiment with this.

Could you guys recommend a few commonly found good burbons and rye whiskys to try in my manhattan (not something too expensive, since ill probably be ordering these at bars or casinos).

A hot drink that is surprisingly good is chai tea + milk, about 1/2 and 1/2, plus spiced rum.

An excellent cold-weather drink for those who live somewhere up north.

Wild Turkey, Jim Beam, Old Overholt. My gf started drinking rye last year which is kinda funny when we go out, she always gets the G/V-tonic and I get the rye drinks.

Red Bull + 1 shot of SLOW gin + 1 shot of Amaretto = Red pop
Add 1/2 shot of vodka if you want it to have some kick, you won't taste the vodka. Slow gin and Amaretto both are only about 40 proof.

They call it Rockin Rye. Most bartenders I've ran into have never heard of it.
