Calling river?
So I'm not sure if my call on the river was correct.
Villian is pretty strange, he is 4.4/2.2/1.0 on 45 hands. Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 5 players Converter Stack sizes: cyg: $51.20 CO: $51.25 Button: $63.95 SB: $38.20 BB: $7.20 Pre-flop: (5 players) cyg is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] cyg raises to $2, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds. Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($4.75, 2 players) cyg bets $3.5, Button calls. Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($11.75, 2 players) cyg bets $8.5, Button calls. River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($28.75, 2 players) cyg checks, Button bets $13.5, cyg calls. Results: Final pot: $55.75 What do you think? About the whole hand, not only the river. I was quite unsure of how to play it. |

Re: Calling river?
I dump this preflop UTG sometimes, as played, I play it the same. I don't know what a 4.4/2.2 plays here, if he has a set I probably pay him off for the 1/2 pot bet, it looks really weak, like maybe TT, 88 or something.

Re: Calling river?
Villian was on a hand that I would have never put him.

Re: Calling river?
I play it the same, excluding preflop, but I'm too tight anyways.

Re: Calling river?
i think u can let this go on the river. you represented the ace on the turn, and he says he can beat it on the river. looking back i really dont think its a bad call that you made, but im expecting to see something like A5 or A7 from villain on this river. theres really not too much u beat that hes representing.
