i would smooth call here, i think if the action hasnt been crazy, it will be awful to put 250 bbs in on the flop here (and you certainly cannot fold)

[/ QUOTE ]

not sure what world i live in, but usually 250bb goes in quite easily in a reraised pot on a flop like this.

my attitude here is to establish that im probably not getting away from this hand so I want to get as much money in vs the widest range possible, and people will commit with a very wide range on this flop.

I think most aggressive players repop 77/88 as well as KK preflop. So you are really only behind K7/K8 with tons of draws present. I think you need to lose all your money here and I think the line you took is the best one.

Is your opponent the type to felt onepair hands or 4-bet push a draw? If the answer to these questions is no, then it would seem like smoothcalling the flop raise is best.

pocket,

If I don't think he will repop draws or one pair hands, and my two pair hand is the worst possible two pair hand, why am I calling? I think the best case for calling IS if he will repop these hands as top pair doesnt need to be scared away and a big draw will get it in like 45/55 where as if i let the turn roll off a blank i can take control of the pot in position giving him no equity so deep. That has been the conclusion I have come to, however I still think repopping him is the best because I can take control of the pot for the hands where I don't have two pair, like Jason said, to conceal my draws and sets alike. My line on that board I guess is the only one I can pick but its one of the tougher spots ive been in in a while so I thought I'd get others logic on it.
