I think I didnt get cute until high school. I was def. really really ugly and awkward starting in elementary and ESPECIALLY in middle school. If I ever get off my butt I'll scan some middle school pics. They are really bad. Really really really skinny, greasy, short hair, BAD clothes (only got to wear hand-me-downs). I was very awkward too.

I basically got un-cute 1- when I got unflattering glasses 2- a series of really bad haircuts 3- fat.

I think little boys stay cuter for a little longer, because girls mature faster. Once both hit puberty, I suppose, they both lose any childish cuteness.

edit: and I meant to indicate that boys hit an awkward stage a little later than girls. So there should be a point when the girls become cuter than boys, temporarily. But at some point, they become equal again (excluding one's sexual orientation).
