It's fine, you can fold the river, I might of bet a little more on every street.

The river card sucks the straight draw, the flush draw and any ace just beat you.

Knowing me, I would be watching TV...talking to the wife...talking to the kids...petting the dog...and eating dinner. Then I would call, completely not believing he got the straight (no real reason, that would just go through my mind), and totally not seeing the flush.

Then, when he beats me, I kick the cat.

I'm not married to this idea, but think its worth considering.

Place what appears to be a value bet on the river and try to control the action. Fold to a reraise.
If he pushs listen for a hee-haw and if silent, fold.
